an ode to where it all started
a little sentimental moment before the next era begins.
move-in day is getting closer, our third birthday is right around the corner, and somehow it feels like everything is coming full circle at once.
before we officially say hello to the new home of the strand company, we had to give a proper goodbye to the place where it all started.
the first chapter
almost three years ago, this quaint space on north belair road became home to the strand company.
it wasn't the biggest. it wasn't the final vision. but it was ours.
it's where the early mornings and late nights happened. where first-time clients became regulars. where countless blondes, brunettes, extensions, blowouts, spray tans, and getting-ready moments happened.
it's where we figured things out, changed things up, dreamed a little bigger, and then actually started doing it.
a lot can happen in three years.

on october 5th, the strand company turns three.
which feels a little surreal considering we're celebrating year three by packing up the space that started it all and moving into something we've been dreaming about for a long time.
if you've been here since the beginning, you've watched the strand company evolve right along with us.
new services. new faces. a new name. a new look. and now, a new home.
the kind of growth that happens slowly... and then somehow all at once.
leaving the little salon behind
we always knew this wouldn't be our forever space.
but knowing that doesn't make packing it up any less bittersweet.
this little salon gave us exactly what we needed when we needed it. it gave us room to build a clientele, find our style, grow our team, and figure out what we wanted the next version of the strand company to look like.
now, we've simply outgrown it.
and we can't think of a better reason to leave.

next stop: evans towne center under the premier.
the new home of TSC feels like us in every way — elevated, intentional, a little luxe, and designed for where we're going next.
we've obsessed over the details. we've watched the vision slowly become real. and we're so close to finally letting you in.
same girls. same appointments. same place you come to feel like yourself again.
just a much prettier new address.
to the girls that got us here
this part will always be about you.
the girls who have been coming since day one. the ones who found us somewhere along the way. the ones who bring their inspo pics, trust us when we say hear me out, send their friends, tag us in their selfies, and already have their next appointment booked before they leave.
you made it possible for us to outgrow our first home.
and that's pretty cool.
so, this isn't quite the third birthday post yet. and it's not quite move-in day.
it's just a little love letter to our first salon before everything changes.
almost three years down. one little salon we'll never forget. and a very, very good next chapter loading.
